Narcissistic Abuse Survivor Pages and Groups Being Overrun by Content Marketers Join Group of ADMINS to Prevent leaking information.
To Join this group you will need to provide the actual page or blog that you admin. I’ve noticed a growing number of requests to join my survivor group and once approved the new members begin to immediately post articles with great headlines that make you click. However, once you click you immediately notice some things.....Like this.....#NarcissisticAbuseAdmins
Lots of Bullet Points
Lots of Key Words “Narcissistic Abuse Survivor” in this case being overly utilized
A detached writing style - As in, I’m just writing a book review.
This breed of blogger is joining our groups with two key purposes.
1. To see what subjects will “sell” and
2. To share content based on group discussions for money.
These articles have no real substance or value. We work VERY HARD to keep our groups safe and to have this boundary violated for a profit is the equivalent of being poached. Admins write away, survivors write away, but don’t you come into these groups and produce a cold document with little thought behind your words besides money.
It takes going through a battle to “become an expert” in this niche, you don’t become an “expert” in this niche if you haven’t been there!
We create blogs and support groups to help people, not to create filler content. I do a lot of writing in the financial industry and this is how companies are now making profits. They target a niche and then they exploit that niche so they can earn cash from your clicks and cash for advertising.
If you are writing to pay your bills pick a product that is actually for sale because we are not for sale and, we sure as hell are not for free! I’m sorry but if anybody is going to make cash off of anything it should be the people who produce the content on our blogs. Many of us do not even have google AdSense we just bleed on paper and hope it helps someone. We are not lambs out to slaughter. I for one will not give these people power by offering them free content that was spilled with our blood as being actual survivors of this abuse.
I suggest:
Admins come together and if you see suspicious article sharing and the article itself is content questionable ban those people and share their profile name and the website that the article was shared from.
With all of us working together we will be able to know if it is from a trustworthy source. We are a tight community. We are always welcoming of new blogs and new things to read. When I started on this journey the reason was because there was a severe lack of information available on Narcissistic Abuse. For the most part we either know each other or are aware of each other. I refuse to let these people profit off of my pain, your pain, or the people in our groups who trust us with their pain. If we ban someone and later find out it was unwarranted through discussion with other admins or group members then we will go from there.
This is a very tight niche of people and we got this way by building boundaries and building trust. This is a breach of both. It is one thing if we decide one day to set up google AdSense or write a book and earn extra money. It is quite another to produce content mills where articles of no real value or service are generated just for a click. I’m not going to stand by and allow this to happen and you shouldn’t either. We have already been through hell so I will continue fighting like hell to protect my space. I can’t protect my space if those I’ve fought through hell with are being slaughtered by these wolves.
To the Marketers:
You just picked the Wrong Damn Niche of people to exploit! Your content will be discredited as it should be and left valueless. If you are a writer for these people you better hope you made more than 20 bucks on that article because your credibility in this niche will be done.
